MEP student recognized for undergraduate research presentation at SACNAS Conference 2016

Aerospace Engineering senior Wilson Flores was recognized for his outstanding research presentation, “Linear LED Lighting” project, at the SACNAS Conference 2016 in Long Beach, CA this past weekend. He was selected out of 920 undergraduate research presentations based on scores provided by mentor-judges and the collective recommendations of all judges within each subdiscipline. Wilson was inspired through SACNAS to continue on for a PhD in Aerospace Engineering and hopes to afterwards move in to academia. Wilson is happy he was able to share his research with the science community, mentors-judges, and professionals, and is excited to advance to the next level in his career. It was Wilson’s first time attending this conference and he was able to come back as one of the two Ohio State winners from this conference. Congratulations Wilson!
